French defender Jeremy Mathieu arrived at Barcelona last summer with little fanfare, but he has quickly become a standout performer, taking a starting place from Gerard Pique in the process. One Barcelona fan wasn't pleased with Mathieu after his side's 0-0 draw at Malaga on Wednesday, though.
The man confronted Mathieu about the first points Barca dropped this season by knocking on the window of his Ferrari. Mathieu didn't like this strange man touching his expensive car, so he got out and asked what the man's problem was.
"You cost me €200!" the man told a very confused Mathieu before asking, "Why did you draw with Malaga?"
The problem with all of this? Well, there's a few. But to start, Mathieu wasn't even in the squad for the Malaga match. So with this in mind, the footballer got back in his car to leave the confused man to be handled by security staff and the police.
Mathieu did play in Barcelona's match against Granada on Saturday, though. And they won 6-0.
