Sam Bradford dealt to Eagles for Nick Foles: report

The Eagles and Rams are about to close on a deal to trade quarterbacks, sending Sam Bradford from St. Louis in exchange for Nick Foles of Philadelphia. The deal was first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN:

The move continues Philadelphia's total scorched-earth rebuilding program; Foles is just one year removed from an exceptional season behind center. Bradford, meanwhile has twice torn his left ACL in the last two seasons, each time ending his year. He played only seven games in 2013 and none at all in 2015.

Bradford is in the final year of his contract, which, along with a reported second-round pick from St. Louis, gives the Eagles a potential further trading chip in their apparent goal to move upward in the draft. Either that, or the Eagles are going into the season with Mark Sanchez and Sam Bradford as their quarterbacks.
