The Boston Red Sox, with no trophy of their own to hoist this year, invited Tom Brady and Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots to star in their Fenway Park opener. Pats owner Robert Kraft and president Jonathan Kraft were there too, carrying Super Bowl trophies for good measure.

Brady was tasked with throwing out the first pitch, which shouldn't have been too hard, since you know, he throws balls for a living and is generally considered to be among the best in his profession. He was also drafted as a catcher by the Montreal Expos. So first pitch, no problemo, right Tom?
Well, about that. Here's what happened:
David Ortiz was able to dig out the wild first pitch, so things weren't too terrible. Nobody's going to be comparing Brady to 50 Cent or anything like that. Brady did better in the batting cage, smacking lob balls thrown to him by Pedro Martinez.

Remember kids, Tom Brady isn't all-the-way perfect. He bounced a first pitch at Fenway Park. We can always hold that against him.
